Your answer is right :)

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

You still need to answer parts a and b of the question. You shouldn't round too much for your work for part c (what you have in the box right now), I got 11.025, which in salespeak rounds to $11.03.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually, wait a second

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@cathyangs The first 2 lines are my answers to A and B... and yes I didn't put in the exact number, thank you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh never mind, your answer is right

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

@Skelsior , the first line would not a sufficient answer for Part A, as it does not show the $5 discount. "r - 5" shows the regular price (r) with the $5 discount. The equation for Part B should probably say p(r) = and have the equation in terms of r, the regular price of a T-shirt, not for $15.50 (the cost of one specific shirt), since the sale applies to shirts of different original prices.

@cathyangs You're absolutely correct. Thank you, (you probably just saved me getting points off my grade for that!)

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

@Skelsior no problem! Here to help! :)
