@jojokiw3 plisss halpp Mackenzie has found several old keys and five padlocks in her attic. She tries each key in only one padlock first and finally finds one that works. Which of the following describes her experiment? The keys and the padlocks are both variables and there is no control. The keys are the variable and the one padlock she tries is the control. There is no experiment since Mackenzie has no hypothesis. The keys are the control and the different padlocks act as the variable.

OpenStudy (jojokiw3):

A variable is something that can be decided by the experimenter. A control is a constant the experimenter wants, it doesn't change. I don't see a hypothesis in the question either. I'm not sure about this question, but I gave you the definitions. o.o

OpenStudy (noahbred):

thanks I think I will get it

OpenStudy (jojokiw3):

Ah sorry, I think it's C, but I'm not 100% sure.

OpenStudy (jojokiw3):

I don't remember the exact definition of "experiment." -_-

OpenStudy (noahbred):

hahaha naw its good thanksss
