OpenStudy (kitkat16):

is that written corrctly?

imqwerty (imqwerty):

\[3\frac{ 3 }{ 5 }+y+5\frac{ 2 }{ 3 }=15\]\[\frac{ 5\times 3+3 }{ 5} +y+\frac{ 3 \times 5+2 }{ 3 }=15\]\[\frac{ 18 }{ 5 }+y+\frac{ 17 }{ 3}=15\]now just subtract 18/5 and 17/3 from both sides and simplify to get \[y=5\frac{ 11 }{ }\]

OpenStudy (88):
