"Marginal frequency distribution" is the sum of a column or row. For effectiveness, they want you to sum the horizontal rows to find total effective (and maybe total not effective). For calcium supplement, they want you to sum the vertical columns to find total that used 500mg supplement each day and total that used 1,200mg supplement each day. According to ( http://stattrek.com/statistics/dictionary.aspx?definition=marginal_frequency)
I think you can calculate the totals of a column or a row. To start you off, the total for the first row, Effective, is 82 + 167 = 249. If you want you can check your answers with me, but I think you can add numbers together.
so my first answer is wrong?
so after you check my first answer, can you tell me how to get the second answer?
Your first answer to the 2nd and 3rd questions? All I can see is you commented "so the final is " Like I said before: For effectiveness, they want you to sum the horizontal rows to find total effective (and maybe total not effective). Example calc to start you off, the total for the first row, Effective, is 82 + 167 = 249. If you want you can check your answers with me, but I think you can add numbers together. For calcium supplement, they want you to sum the vertical columns to find total that used 500mg supplement each day and total that used 1,200mg supplement each day.
i understand, but my first answer is 445 .. is it right?
Yes...that is just the sum of all the numbers, since there are no people double-counted in this survey.
ok so got to the first one right good :) now for the second one i just add the top row correct?
