I have tried this 7 times but my friend Says Im doing it wrong, i'm trying to find the absolute value and the opposite of the integer 17. My Friend Says It Could Be A. 17 and the opposite is –17. B. 17 and the opposite is 0. C. –17 and the opposite is 17 Or D. –17 and the opposite is 0. Can someone help me understand how to do this problem?

This is a two-part question. 1, what is the absolute value of 17? 2, what is the opposite of 17? Does that make sense? Absolute value - the distance from the value to 0 Opposite value - the number opposite the first number, across 0.
