OpenStudy (cutiecomittee123):

cot^2x-tan^2x=1 for all values of x true or false?

OpenStudy (cutiecomittee123):

I think its false because we arent refering to an identity

OpenStudy (bibby):

we can set it up to resemble an identity. for example \(1+\cot^2x=\csc^2x\) or \(1+\tan^2x=\sec^2x\) I can't go from here but as far as I can tell it's false too. http://puu.sh/lwzqS/f4995b1da4.png
