"Butaca" means armchair, that's why you got it wrong. You don't sit in an armchair at the theater, you sit in a seat (a chair) so you should have put "silla".

The answer for the later is "hice", or I "did". Yo hice, Tu hisiste, Nosotros hicimos, Vosotros hiceimos (not sure about that one actually, we don't use vosotros in typical Spanish) Ustedes hicieron. It's all the past usage of the verb hacer. Hacer is doing, hice is did.
