if its + like it is, find a number that multiples to get the certain number and adds or subtracts up to get the second number.

+ means same
- means different so

so if its for example

x^2+6x-5 it is
different but still + and minus.

It is only + and + when the whole thing is +

it is only - and - when its - and + because + means same
