Ok this is gonna sound so stupid but this is legit the question this dumb FLVS coarse is asking. How can you compare the big bang theory to the balloon in the project. The balloon had 4 marks made on it and you first mesured a-b when it was only 1/4 blown up and then a-b when it was 1/2 blown up
a-b b-c c-d d-c c-a d-a d-b you would measure all of this at 1/4 and then when you blew it up you would measure it again at 1/2
that was the project but how would i compare this to the Big Bang????
@NikkiBxox
You seem like you understand both individual concepts. I did this project once. I understand. Here is a helpful website: http://curious.astro.cornell.edu/our-solar-system/104-the-universe/cosmology-and-the-big-bang/expansion-of-the-universe/615-is-the-universe-really-like-an-expanding-balloon-intermediate Let me know if I can do anything else!
Be sure to cite the website if you use it though!!
thanks i mean i understand the big bang but to compare it to a balloon was kinda like are they just stupid?
I know. They want to compare it the the expansion process. The big bang started expanding the universe. A balloon is being expanded into something else.
but i am not a scientist so whatever but i also dont beleive in the big bang soo
I got ya. Good Luck!
@NikkiBxox thankssss for actually not being lazy like others and helping :)
