PLEASE HELP ME! I WILL MEDAL AND FAN! CHECK MY ANSWERS!

MsBrains (ms-brains):

C

MsBrains (ms-brains):

@TheSmartOne Thanks so much the help. :)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Ah, you are almost correct, but not right there.

OpenStudy (utterly_confuzzled):

Remember, a filled dot means it is either greater/less than or equal to and an open dot means just greater/less than

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

You see, we have to have an open circle for < and > but we have a closed circle for \(\ge\) and \(\le\)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So what would you change your answer to, instead of C?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Oh okay, I get it. The correct one is D then?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

@TheSmartOne

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

nope :/

MsBrains (ms-brains):

What! Dammit, Okay. I'll try again.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So you see, the graphed line has a limited region. It can only be in between -1/2 and 3. So the answer has to be in the same form as C. Otherwise, the other form which is like D's would make the graph of those lines keep going on.

MsBrains (ms-brains):

The only one with the same form of C is A..

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

and thand that's your answer. :)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

when you choose the other form, that means the graph will look something like this: |dw:1448395332952:dw|
