OpenStudy (anonymous):

I keep getting 10 for the first part

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(for that interval of course)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

area of those rectangles, it is negative because they are below the x axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(( Yes, this is why i said magnitude ))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for visualization, drag the 1 by 2 triangle from one end to the other to make it a 4 by 2 square.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okh okay I see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so how would I do the second one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk, but that function the curve seems to be a parabola x^2 without any streching factor.... So that function is, as seems to be, (x-6)^2-1 --> over the interval [5,7]
