f(x) = 16x^5 − 48x^4 − 8x^3 g(x) = 8x^2. Find f(x)/g(x) How do i solve this? i know you have to divide but what do you do with the the exponents?

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

This is polynomial long division. Rather than try to explain in words/using openstudy drawing, here's a very understandable resource: https://www.khanacademy.org/math/algebra2/arithmetic-with-polynomials/long-division-of-polynomials/v/polynomial-division If you have follow-up questions, feel free to ask!
