I'm stuck on this one, more so on what I'm guessing is a conceptual error. I'll post the question, what my "gut reaction way to solve it" was, and what the book has. I see how to get what the book has I think, and I understand that math, I just don't understand WHY you wouldn't do it my way... Can someone explain to me the methodology for going about this problem, and where I went wrong? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
