You must followe all of the rules written there. If you violate the rules, moderators will contact you. They might warn you. If you don't learn on your mistakes you will be suspended or banned. Here are the requirements: Ambassadors are representatives of OpenStudy. We answer questions from new users. We welcome and greet users. It's our job to be the embodiment of OpenStudy's ideologies. If so, then please read the next part of the process. There are some key behaviors that Ambassadors must express ◘ As an Ambassador, you agree to always be kind and understanding ◘ As an Ambassador you should let users know you appreciate them ◘ Congratulate and reward positive behavior, and discourage negative behavior ◘ Lead by example! ◘ Respect the staff - never talk ill of OpenStudy ◘ Never disclose personal information if shared with you Do you feel like Ambassadorship is something you would want to do? Do you want a bright future with OpenStudy? Then become an Ambassador! [NOTE: The application, or form, is often subject to change. A message will be posted in either the Ambassador Group or OpenStudy Feedback with details on how to submit an application] You can contact e.mccormick , thomaster , shrutipande9 , ashleyisakitty or hartnn or Compassionate for additional Ambassador opportunities. form link: https://docs.google.com/a/openstudy.com/forms/d/14kZejqKJuYBxuRCxCjwa-rAUtScOYB6KTlrZDmYLTGM/viewform 18) Wanna become a Moderaor? Here are the requarements. How to become a Moderator: First rule: You must be 18+, due to legal issues. Second rule: You have to be, and act mature. Then you have to win the respect of this community through interaction, knowledge and the ability to interact and intervene in an appropriate manner. It is in big part based on participation, courtesy and respect. The most important thing is that you let the administrators and moderators know that you can see things going awry, and that you are willing to make some effort to solve/prevent it. And certainly NOT in a way like messaging them about how bad you want to be a moderator (this will only work contradictory), but they have to notice that you are up for the job. Then, when they decide they need more moderators, you might get asked. ◘ Being on the site for a fair amount of time. (usually more than 6 months) ◘ Be a good and active user on the site ◘ Having a squeaky clean abuse record. ◘ Have good rapport with fellow users. ◘ Having a good sense of justice. ◘ Being an expert in some field. Most of the mods are math geniuses. But any subject would suffice. ◘ Doing a great job in the ambassador program. In the ambassador training period, you'll learn how the rules work on OpenStudy and you'll learn how to make the right decisions. ◘ Hope you'll get lucky when they decide to add more moderators! ~ @thomaster 19) What are Smartcents? Smartcents can be used to buy titles. For each medal you get 1 smartcent. You can view your own profile and find the table there. http://prntscr.com/96u5vr And at last, you cannot delete your account. You cannot also change your username. So please do not post question like Can I change my username of delete my account? because it is impossible. It will ruin other people's smartscore. Just simplify do not use your account if you don't need it anymore. If you want to change your username, and your smartscore is 50 or less. you can just make a new account. It is not hard to get to 50 smartscore again. If you have any questions. you can post them here. Any complains are also welcomed. Medals will be quite appreciated. If you use my tutorial along with the TSO's tutorial to teach new users how to use openstudy, I will appreciate that a lot.
