What is the difference between a subsistence economy and the market economy that developed as a result of nineteenth century transportation innovations? Question 20 options: A subsistence economy is a shared economy, so everyone has enough. A market economy means that people can only buy things in a market, and are not alowd to produce anything. In a market economy people can buy things they need, are not forced to produce what they need but can if they want. In a subsistence economy, families depend on others to produce the goods they need.
