Please, would you share some of your own thoughts about these problems and then ask some specific questions? What do you need to know? In question #2 can you spot the similar (equal) angles? If so, how could you use the fact that these angles are equal to write equations that you could solve for x and y? In question #1, try eliminating those answers that could not possibly be correct.
