Your friend wants your advice about his new transformation fitness plan. He has found a plan that sounds promising to him, but he wants to know what you think before he gets started. The plan is backed by several celebrities. It requires people to buy expensive, pre-packaged, microwavable food and supplements and some workout equipment. Their website promises people can lose up to 30 pounds with minimal exercise. What should you tell your friend? A.This is a good plan, but he should find a coupon online to reduce the cost. B. There is not enough information to determine whether this plan is good or not. C.This is not a good plan because the best bet is always healthy eating and regular exercise. D.This is not a good plan unless he is going to add a 100% fruit juice with his breakfast.

Haha, I would say c - and send him to a health food store

B, for a number of reasons. There is definitely not enough information provided; a celebrity-backed product/product line doesn't mean they have not done their due diligence on researching the ingredients and mechanism of action for the product line as a whole. However, that information has not been disclosed. Microwaving all the food you eat is an awful idea, but the combination may prove effective in a 30-day period. I do agree with C, a good starting point for all exercise/diet programmes or routines is a proper balance of diet and exercise... But I do not see how that would nullify the whole concept. On a side note, 100% fruit juice (D) is not the 'cure-all' to fix the programme listed.
