sorry, the slash is supposed to be a fraction. In the first part i added first. then subtracted and got 4

ok so the rule of solving problems like these is that you do multiplication and division first and then addition and subtraction. So, do 2/27.5 and 4x5.625 first. Then do 2.3+3.7-(answer from division)-(answer from multiplication).

oh, i meant that 2.3 +3.7- 2 is the nominator. and the other part is the denominator. sorry I wasn't more specific!
