So humans and gorillas have been shown to evolve from the same ancestors. So in order for this to happen they have to have similar DNA coding which is also observed genetically. I do not understand completely what you want for an answer for this. If you need more ask a more specific question for me to answer.

Additionally, most genomic dna doesn't actually code anything; only the exons do. These large sections of nonsense are generally conserved because they aren't generally doing anything new.

Because humans, apes, gorilla's and some types of monkeys share a same trait...almost same DNA, I mean :)
