Unfortunately, there is no way to search old messages other than to scroll through them after you've clicked "View All Messages." It would really be quite nice to be able to have a search tool for the messages, so I think that you have brought up a valid suggestion worth consideration.

if you get @Jaynator495 's extenstion from Chrome, you can go through old messages easier.

And after getting it, go to your messages, you should see this:

you will just have to play around with the number to find older messages

if you send a lot of messages, and want to see your first message, you should try putting a huge number.

like for me that would have been 16,000 :P

Its funny, the whole reason i implemented that was to help people access messages before they where spammed by me .-.
