Suppose you are an astronomer, and a child asks you to explain the light given off by stars. In your own words, describe the relationship between the energy, frequency, and wavelength. Be sure to include information about the electromagnetic spectrum in your discussion.

@Luigi0210 could you help me?

Hi Welcome to Openstudy, I think it is better for you to post your question in the proper subject area so that we can easily help you with the topic you are asking :) Stars emit light(electromagnetic radiation-form of energy) with different wavelengths that's why sometimes you observe that they have different colors. From this, astronomers can analyze the nature of stars here on Earth (ofc they also have to use instruments that would help them see wavelengths that aren't visible to the naked eyes). The relationship of energy, frequency and wavelength can be illustrated using the relationship below: \(\Large \sf E= hf\ and\ f= \frac{c}{\lambda}\) E is the energy, f is the frequency, h is the planck's constant, c is the speed of light and \(\sf \lambda\) is the wavelength. From the formulas, you can see that Energy is directly proportional to the frequency and frequency is inversely proportional to the wavelength. This means that the larger the frequency, the greater the energy and the smaller the wavelength. You can also observe this relationship using the elctromagnetic spectrum. This is just the basic information related to your problem. Hope this helps. If you have a further question, don't hesitate to ask ^_^
