I've never thought about this. I think the central angle and interior angle are supplementary.

The number of central angles are the same as the number of sides and their sum will be 360 degrees. So they are equal to the sum of the exterior angles which also add up to 360 degrees and are supplementary to the interior angles.
AS the number of sides increase the value of central angles will decrease just as the value of exterior angles decrease, becuse the sum of these is always 360 degrees.
