Supporters, I can tell you supporters of Stalin's party are Bolsheviks. Otherwise Lenin's Bolsheviks.

Technology leaped greatly during WWII for the Russians.

Tsar's were opposition to Russia's party.

Although this may not portray to the book, which I outta read, this may be a good point to start. :)
