I'm no sure about the justification part because the US and UK geometries have a different set of standards. Algebra is very much the same bot not Geometry.

Basically the 2 above angles are both equal to m < ACD and m < DCE therefore they must be equal to each other.

If c = a +b and d = a + b then obviously c = d.

I think that the missing statement can be this: \(measure<ACE=measure<BCD\)--->\(reason\): transitive property of equality
