As the value of the correlation coefficient increases from 0 to 1 or decreases from 0 to -1, how do the points of the scatterplot fit the regression line?

What do you think? What does "regression line" mean to you? When we're looking for a correlation between two variables, is it "good" or "bad" if the points in your scatter plot "drift" towards or away from the regression line? What would the graph of a relationship with correlation coefficient 1 look like?
