Is it okay for me to post things you can debate about on open study? I tried to do it once but someone told me it was a bit off topic. I just find debates rather fun and whoever makes the best point will get a medal and stuff. Is there a way I can do that on OS?

if you would like to debate about openstudy related thing (answer giving, medal parties, openstudy suggestions and viability) feel free to debate about those here

if you would like to debate about the ethics of stem cells, you can do it in the biology section

so/therefore - any educational debates should already have a place where they can go

religion and politics is a touchy subject though - so please avoid them

I don't think it's a great idea because these "debates" can turn into fights. Besides, OpenStudy should only be used for learning and getting help online.

I would say that its okay to debate on certain things but if you know mentioning it will start problems I wouldn't

debating is a good idea it just depends on how far it will go..... just be careful not to go too far into the debate.... you dont wanna start problems with other people! >_<
