OpenStudy (zoeeh127):

# please help meh

OpenStudy (sasabina123):

Before the phonograph was invented, people viewed music more as a group activity. To listen to music you had to go to a concert hall or a club, once it was released you could now listen to music in your own living room. It had an impact on musicians as well as people and how they viewed music.

OpenStudy (zoeeh127):

ok...

OpenStudy (zoeeh127):

that's cool

OpenStudy (sasabina123):

The vitascope was basically one of the first working projectors, it also changed social norms much like the phonograph.

OpenStudy (sasabina123):

The phonograph is pretty cool, changed the way that people could listen to music, much like how we have smartphones now and can take music anywhere instead of having to listen to it on tape or cd.

OpenStudy (zoeeh127):

the phonograph is now my favorite invention from the 19th and 20 the century now

OpenStudy (sasabina123):

Haha, yeah it would have to be my favorite too.

OpenStudy (zoeeh127):

would you mind helping me a little more @sasabina123

OpenStudy (sasabina123):

Yeah sure. What do you need help with?

OpenStudy (zoeeh127):

can you give some information on the quadracycle

OpenStudy (sasabina123):

Would you like to know how it impacted people?

OpenStudy (zoeeh127):

yes please and if you can tell me a few details about it too that would really help

OpenStudy (sasabina123):

The Quadricycle was Ford's first experimental automobile, it was named the quadricycle because it was made with four bicycle tires. It actually inspired Ford and his quest in creating an automobile that it lead to him making the Ford motor company in 1903.

OpenStudy (sasabina123):

It was the first automobile he had ever designed or created.

OpenStudy (sasabina123):

It was basically a horseless carriage with a gasoline engine. It started his motivation to make a lighter and faster car. Hope that helped.

OpenStudy (zoeeh127):

thanks so much
