What is the area of this parallelogram? A. 318.78 cm2 B. 274.12 cm2 C. 159.39 cm2 D. 368.46 cm2
her is the pic that goes with the question
The area of a parallelogram can be calculated by the product of the base times the height, there are methods which imply traslading the triangle that is defined by the height on the parallelogram. But we won't bother with the proof in te isomery and metric space able to be defined by a paralleogram, but jump straight to the Area formula, let's call the area "A": \[A=b.h\] Where the "base b" is the segment perpendicular to the height "h" so we can just plug those values in: \[A=(20.7)(15.4)\] The rest can be worked out by a calculator.
ok
is the answer A
correct.
