How did the geography of the Eskimo peoples differ from that of peoples located in the Indus River Valley?

In the Indus River Valley, the river provided fertile soil which made it easier to grow crops. They also had lots of rainfall and large land areas for herding animals. While the eskimo people, also known as Inuit people lived far north of Canada near the North Pole. It was very difficult for them to survive the cold weather and hunt. They also had to adapt to the mountain ranges.
