OpenStudy (gabebae):

Develop and reduce n²-(n-1)²-(n-2)²+(n+3)²

OpenStudy (welshfella):

expand each of the binomials and simplify

OpenStudy (gabebae):

expand?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

"Expand and simplify" would make more sense here. What's the expansion of (n-1)^2? of (n-2)^2? and so on. Write your expansions in a list and combine "like" ("similar") terms. (x-3)^2 "expanded" into a trinomial is x^2 - 6x + 9, (Example)

OpenStudy (mathmale):

welshfella is saying the same thing in different words. "expand" is a very common and imiportant word in algebra.
