Hi, I need to convert polar coordinates A(r,z,phi) = (5,2,16deg) into Cartesian coordinates of (x,y,z). I know how to calcuate the x,y BUT don't know what to do with the 16deg? Is it z=tan(phi) or is it z=tan-1(phi) as the give very different answers. Thanks S.
