medal and fan!!!
A new object, Object Y, was discovered outside our solar system. Object Y is small and rocky, is not a satellite of any other object, and it does not have enough gravity to clear away smaller objects near its orbit. The characteristics of Object Y most closely resemble those of other comets. dwarf planets. moons. meteors.
@TheSmartOne can you help me with this please?
i think it is d
"Object Y is small and rocky, is not a satellite of any other object" Which option can we eliminate? Hint: The moon is Earth's satellite
b?
I think that it can be an asteroid or a meteror, since an asteroid or a meteor has little dimensions, and is not a massive object. According to General Relativity, the gravity exerted by an object, depends on the mass of such object, so if the mass of an object is small, then its gravitational field is weak.
right?
@TheSmartOne are you there?
it cannot be an asteroid as they orbit something
oh
we can also eliminate moons as they orbit something too
do dwarf planets orbit something?
they orbit a sun
Pluto is a dwarf planet, so they orbit the sun
so it will have to be a meteor so you're correct :)
so then its d
