Can someone check over my exam problems?
A new builder wishes to purchase land from the city for a new housing development. What environmental parameters are most important to investigate before buying the property? The distance of the land to new construction and development The loss of habitat to endangered species that live in the area Profit potential for land purchase and the prices of other land in the area The costs of utility and wastewater set up for the new development B?
Honesstly.. I think this is a stupid question. xP Because all of them can be right, because that's an opinionated question. Did it say something specific in a lesson or something?
Nope, I've been getting a lot of opinion based questions and I'm getting really pissed at them. An English exam I got one right, one was a factual and the rest were pure opinion based, which school has NO RIGHT to teach. Forest habitat is cleared to build a new shopping complex. What does this scenario represent? A loss of biodiversity due to a climate change A gain in biodiversity due to an invasive species A loss of biodiversity due to human activity A loss in biodiversity due to a catastrophic event C?
@ShiBuringa
Agree. I hate It when they do opinionated questions too. Usually when they do, they said it somewhere, and I usually have to go back and read or go to a Live lesson. It truly is aggravating. :\
I've had to watch so many of my LL's lately. I'm spending more time on that than doing my actual work, which is horribly long. rip' The government wants to set new regulations that prohibit chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) use in aerosol sprays and refrigerants. How will this act help with the sustainability of our environment? It will slow the degradation of the ozone layer. It will decrease the use of fossil fuels. It will increase the costs of aerosol sprays and refrigerants. It will increase ultraviolet light needed for vegetation.
A?
I think so. :3
You go to Connections Academy to? xD
Florida virtual, I'm a freshmen. I have alg2 and AP human geography though. I'm positive I'm the least fresh freshmen
A large storm destroys the greenbelt of an island coastline. What are the consequences of this loss of habitat? A fast recovery of the coastline ecosystem Beach erosion to the unprotected coastline A quick redevelopment of the greenbelt An expansion of beach vegetation B?
Agree. Needing help from an 8th grader, eh? xDD And a guy or girl? Writing a testimonial for you. ^.^
Well 8th ain't that far off :p
ik xP
The high school is a lot different being independent btw. I would suggest work ahead. They scheduled us to end dec 18th. actual end date is 14th of jan.
And biology isn't my strong suit, I prefer science in mechanical ways :p
It really is..? o3o And I like mechanics, though I don't usually do it, just find it interesting.xP
Yeah unlike before where I always was behind a little bit, as I felt I was being prosecuted for working ahead which is bull.
Mhm. That is happening to me in PE, I was "going ahead" which I was just doing what was on my planner. :l
For consecutive seasons, farmers have exceeded their pesticide use. How will this affect the community of animals that share their ecosystem? Pesticides will not harm any of the animals that live in the area. Any animal susceptible to pesticides will die or suffer altered reproductive cycles. Most animals will immigrate to avoid pesticide exposure. Any animal exposed to the pesticide will die in the area surrounding the farms. B? or D? @ShiBuringa
Mmm to me they sound the same. But oof course teachers wont aloow it to be 2 answers... e.e
B makes more sense now that I read them correctly .3.
Uggggghhhh teachers are buttheads sometimes xDD
If water vapor continued to increase in our atmosphere, what changes would you expect in freshwater lakes? Lake temperatures will decrease, but dissolved oxygen in the water will increase. Lake temperatures will decrease along with dissolved oxygen in the water. Lake temperatures will increase, but dissolved oxygen in the water will decrease. Lake temperatures will increase along with dissolved oxygen in the water. B?
Mhm.
