Okay I looked up the role of the American Social Democratic Party and didn't even get much information about it. Does any one know what the role of this party is?

OpenStudy (poisoned_ruby):

Well, America doesn't actually have a Social Democratic Party anymore. It was very short lived. Do you sill want to know what the role of it was?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes please @Poisoned_Ruby

OpenStudy (poisoned_ruby):

Well, the social democratic party was essentially a group of marxists, they were against capitalism and the use of social classes based on money. They evolved into the socialist party (think Bernie Sanders). They were mostly marxists (like I said) and labor union workers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sorry to bother you again but is it okay if you tell me why they were short lived? Is it because the Labor Unions stopped? @Poisoned_Ruby

OpenStudy (poisoned_ruby):

It's no problem I'm here to help :) There are many causes. It's partly due to the fact that the republican party had such a large following in America at the time. It is also due to the fact that socialists are radical left-wing liberals. Any party that is radical is bound to fail because they don't compromise
