can you better explain the slope of a line .

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

The slope of a line is the change in y over the change in x. Say we have a line like so: |dw:1448915973307:dw|The y-intercept is 0, and the slope is 1/1 or 1.

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

|dw:1448916064970:dw| does this make sense?
