OpenStudy (darrenmadx):

What is the saddest poem you can come up with? I have to do a project to prove that poetry can bring out different emotion. I would prefer that you make up the poem yourself

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did a poem about an Ode to Light is was a metaphor for depression and my struggle

OpenStudy (darrenmadx):

It would be a honor @maddie.victoria if you would share it with me, that is if you don't mind

OpenStudy (bemoseemo):

A good poem, even though it isn't made up, is edgar allen poe's the raven. It brings out different emotions of sadness and fear, while mixing in symbolism that you would not notice that well.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay I'll try to find it <3

OpenStudy (darrenmadx):

Ir you going to make a comment, make sure its a poem you made not a author who made poems

OpenStudy (bemoseemo):

I was just telling you that for a good example to look off of for a bit of proof.

OpenStudy (darrenmadx):

yeah but my teacher wont accept it. I already tried. If it is made by someone who is famous, my teacher wont accept it @bemoseemo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Filling the world with light, keeping minds working at night, with bright, shining life, that we call light. Without this light, it wouldn't be right, for darkness would fill the world. I am so very thankful for this beautiful light, that fills the world with life.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I want to die. I'll just cry. I like pie.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In mine the darkness is the depression, the keeping minds working at night is anxiety, and how I am thankful for what I went through/still going through.

OpenStudy (darrenmadx):

wow thanks for the poem. I guess in a way we are all going through "dark" things. But I feel it is up to us if we allow the darkness to consume us or if we decide to be the light that cast it away

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I hope that helped.

OpenStudy (darrenmadx):

it did. Thank you
