It's been a while since I last posted one of my poems. Hopefully, I still have that magic with words people tell me I have.

A pang of pain goes through my heart
Every time something reminds me of you.
The songs you liked, the poems you wrote
All bring me sadness where joy had been.
Your words rip through my heart
Because it still belongs to you.
Now they all serve as reminders
Of how things used to be.

How silly of me to give out my heart
To someone I'ved never met before.
Especially being one so fond of knowing
The logic and reason in everything.
But it was like I had already known you
Because you reminded me of me.
I trusted in the connection I felt
But now I don't what to do.

Before we talked hours on end
Like we had known each other forever.
But now this stone-cold silence
Freezes me internally.
I don't know if I'm to blame
And it torments me every day.
I just really need to talk to you
Because it's been too long.

doesn't sound so good though and you see where I had put ((( ))) that word I had put in ((( ))) is spelled wrong.
