Go by the order of PEMDAS (Parenthesis, Exponent, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction). First, multiply 6x2 and 5x2. Then, you will add (for the numerator or top number) 6x2 to 12 and subtract 5x2 from 18. Finally, divide the two numbers that are left and there is your answer. If you're still lost, let me know :)

The denominator (the bottom number of the fraction) will be 3, yes. Now find the numerator: 12 + (6 x 2) Then take the numerator and divide it by 3 (the denominator). That will be your answer. No problem :)
