OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because of the diameter being 14 cm

OpenStudy (xxlyh):

can you help me check another answer? itll be quick lol

OpenStudy (xxlyh):

A funnel is shaped like a cone and is 4.5 inches high and has a diameter of 6 inches. What is the volume of the funnel? Use 3.14 for pi. Round your answer to the nearest hundredth. (4 points) 10.60 in3 42.39 in3 63.61 in3 169.64 in3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Round that to the answer and yes I will help you

OpenStudy (xxlyh):

I calculated it and everything but I'm not getting the answer :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/3pir^2h is the Volume of a Cone h= height r= radius pi= 3.14 it gives the diameter at 6 in but you need the radius which is one half or 3inches plugging the values in 1/3(3.14)(9)(4.5)=?

OpenStudy (xxlyh):

127.17?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are your answers?

OpenStudy (xxlyh):

I got 127.17

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh my bad yes that's right

OpenStudy (xxlyh):

but it isn't an option so what other answer could it be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are your options

OpenStudy (xxlyh):

10.60 in3 42.39 in3 63.61 in3 169.64 in3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh 63.61

OpenStudy (xxlyh):

so the first one is 1436.03 and the second one is 63.61?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the first one you need to round it to the nearest hundreth

OpenStudy (xxlyh):

LOL I'm kinda scared cause I need a good grade for this lesson in order to pass but thank you for helping me!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

K np

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH, I looked back at the answers I'm sorry I guess when the were meaning to round to the nearest hundredth I didn't see there was only those answers B is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):
