A monkey wants to climb a 25m high pole.so he jumps.In every jump he climb 5m and slips down by 2.5 m so in how many jumps ...the monkey will reach the top of pole?

1st we count number of jumps required to reach 20m we can say that after slipping the effective distance becomes 2.5m so to reach 20m 20/2.5=8jumps are required and then it jumps once more 5m up it reaches 25m so 8+1=9jumps required :)
