Question

How bout we quit worrying about making the site fancy, and just focus on the basics. I understand that there are alternatives to this site, but they are usually not moderated as well as this one. It would be awesome if this site continued to have the moderation that it has, but make it just as fast as the other alternatives. Good site. I've used it for over a year now and realize that you have the "officers" to keep things on topic, but you just don't have the productivity the other sites have. Hope that makes sense. Just a suggestion. :)

Fix the dang moderator tools! Suspensions are easy enough to be circumvented. IP bans, haha, those are a joke. People like jay, and noobs like Reaper have found these exploits, and they have used them to their advantage. There are too many flaws that my fellow OS users and I have found, the site could easily be brought down by a script kiddie. But what damage could an experienced person do? Please, put some money into getting a developer on this. We have had OpenStudy users developing plugins that make the site better, and they are students who have a life. Maybe hire them, at least that would be a step towards something better.

Thanks for the reply! I totally agree! I'm not trying to bash on OS, but it definitely needs some work. However, the site is functional. On the other hand, There are people who have found ways to use mod tools to their advantage. I've been banned because someone didn't like me. Something can and should be done. Thank You! :)

I think they are working on something with the moderation system suggestions were given whether they change it or not is up to the admins and it takes a long time to do those things wouldn't you rather have the lag fixed? :P
I agree though the site needs better moderation methods but that'll be a while :P

The lag is something I've protested to fix and many others have as well. I understand how its hard to fix because the amount of information being transferred by MANY people. Yes, the lag fixed would be great. I'm just saying that, making the site more visually appearing, since the new update, is not what people want. Most people would want the site more productive. @Preetha I do understand that the qualified helpers is going to raise money for the site. But, could we recommend to use the money from that program to make the site easier to use? Thanks for reading.
