Given the two points, we can plug them in the point-slope form formula and work it out to find the answer. (: y-y1 = m(x-x1) <--- Point-slope formula y-y1 = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) x (x-x1) (We have to find slope as well) y-(-1) = (2 - (-1))/((1/2)-(-3)) x (x-(-3)) y + 1 = 3 /(7/2) x (x+ 3) y + 1 = 6/7 x (x+3) y + 1 = 6(x+3) / 7 y + 1 = (6x + 18) /7 7(y+ 1) = 6x + 18 7y + 7 = 6x + 18 Now we can simplify this. 7y + 7 = 6x + 18 -7 -7 7y = 6x + 11 -6x -6x -6x + 7y = 11 So, the answer is D.
