Why isn't there an edit button for if you misspell something in a comment?

Well, the issue with an edit button is that people can edit there comments. For example:
Question, whats 2*3?

Person A: 6
Person B: If you have 2 sets of 3 pancakes, how many pancakes do you have?
Person A edits to: If you have 2 boxes with 3 pencils in each box, how many pencils do you have?
