Mama L wants to throw a pizza party for her students to celebrate all the times she talks about food in her math lessons, and she thinks each student deserves their own individual pizza. Each pizza costs $9. She also plans to spend $24 dollars on drinks and bread sticks. Write an equation that represents this situation in slope-intercept form. @TheSmartOne

$9x + $25x = y?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Nope and nope also 24$ will be spent on drinks and other snacks TOTAL this would be our y-intercept and if we have 'x' students, then the teacher has to pay 9x for pizza

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

so @Demonx341 can you re-write the equation in slope-intercept form?
