Why were many citizens concerned about the lack of a bill of rights in the original Constitution?



They were afraid that the new national government would abolish slavery.

B, because if they didn't post a bill of rights, then a government would have nothing to operate by, and they would be able to have free reign. Not like it much different now, but we have the civil rights
