Anyone want to explain Kerchoff's rules to me?

But for example in a circuit such as the one attached there can you explain how the rules apply?

Thanks for trying, yeah I get the basic concepts but my teacher is kind of wacky so he can't explain how to do this but he knows how to.... I need someone who FULLY understand Kirchoff's rules!
