thanks

Directrix (directrix):

Not sure what this is: f(x)= 3 sin (2 0/+pi) Is that a divided by symbol after the zero? Here is what I think the problem might be. Do check or we will get the wrong answers. f(x) = 3 sin ( 2 Ɵ + π )

Directrix (directrix):

We'll need the attached chart once you verify the equation. Just click on DRAW and write it out if you like.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0/ is theta

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it looks right

Directrix (directrix):

Here is a copy and paste theta for you: Ɵ and a pi, too π :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

Directrix (directrix):

Look at the chart and see if you can get the amplitude.

Directrix (directrix):

Did you get 3 for the amplitude?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

Directrix (directrix):

Great.

Directrix (directrix):

And the period?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pi

Directrix (directrix):

Yes. So, the amp is 3 and the period is π

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so that it right 3 and pi.

Directrix (directrix):

>> So, the amp is 3 and the period is π Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x)= 3*sin (2*(0/pi))?????

Directrix (directrix):

@FINYA We have the equation sorted: f(x) = 3 sin ( 2 Ɵ + π )
