OpenStudy (lilday12):

Given F(x) shown below, complete the equation for the inverse of F(x). If necessary, use the slash mark ( / ) for the division symbol. F(x)=(3x-2)/6 F -1(y) = _____

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know minimal about Algebra, but having done this type of work recently, I vaguely remember f(x), the letters, being variables inside of the equation itself.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So if you plug in f - 1 into the equation, wherever f is, you will have the answer after solving the equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im going to find out where f and x will be real quick for you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, your forward slash that comes before 6, what does that mean in the equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Division. Ok. Are you diving (3x-2) by 6?

OpenStudy (denisaboichuk):

yes right
