ok so a compound sentence is a sentence with more than one subject or predicate. So the first one one is focused on two subjects, the cute jacket and the cold outside. So this would be a compound sentence. A compound verb is a sentence with more than one verb. The second only has one subject, the cat and dog, there are two verbs, run and play. so this would be a simple sentence with a compound verb. 1. B 2. B
