honestly this depends on what kind of titration that you're doing, but often times you'll look for a color change

In order to see a color change you need to add before tritation starts an acid-base indicator to the solution. Let's say you use phenolphtalein, an acid base indicator that is colorless in acid or at ph7, and turns pink(purple) on basic solutions
